Privacy Policy
This page explains how Kýma Paint (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use kymapaint.com. We are a painting business based in Larnaca, Cyprus. For any privacy question, email hello@kymapaint.com or call +357 94 119060.
What we collect and why
Contact form — your name, email, phone, city and message, so we can reply and prepare a quote.
Booking a free site visit — your name, email, phone, chosen service, preferred date and time, the visit address and, only if you choose to share it, your map location, so we can confirm and carry out the visit.
Painting calculator — your name, email and the project details you enter, so we can email you the estimate and follow up.
We only ask for what we need. The legal basis is your consent and the steps we take at your request before any contract.
Location data
If you tap “Use my location” or drop a pin on the booking map, your approximate coordinates are used once to work out the address for your visit. We do not track your location in the background.
Address search and lookup use third-party mapping services — OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) and Photon by Komoot.
How we store and share your data
Your details are stored in our database on our web hosting and sent by email to hello@kymapaint.com. Calculator estimates and booking confirmations are also emailed to you.
We never sell your data. We only share it with the providers that run the site for us — our hosting and email provider and the mapping services above.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and job records only as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and accounting obligations, after which we delete them.
Cookies and local storage
The public site uses a small amount of local storage to remember your language choice. A session cookie is used only for the private admin area.
We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, or object to how we use it. Email hello@kymapaint.com and we will respond.
You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date below shows when it was last changed.
