Painters in Larnaca

Larnaca is where the van starts. Interior and exterior painting from Finikoudes out to Oroklini, Aradippou and the villages — usually with a look at the job inside the same week.

  • This is our base
  • Often a same-week look
  • No call-out fee

The home district, and the damp one

Being based here changes what we can offer. Coming to look at a wall in Larnaca is half an hour out of a day rather than a scheduling exercise, so we say yes to the small jobs other crews quote out of: one ceiling, one stairwell, the wall behind a leak. It also means the awkward hours are easier — a shop before opening, a flat between an afternoon check-out and an evening check-in.

It is also the most humid district we work in, and that shows up on the walls. The salt lake on one side, the bay on the other, and a housing stock of uninsulated concrete: come January, warm damp indoor air meets a cold external wall and leaves black spotting in the corner of a bedroom or behind a wardrobe. More Larnaca call-outs start with that photograph than with a colour chart.

What we get called for in Larnaca

The mix here is broader than anywhere else, because we are five minutes away.

01

Holiday flats near the airport

Mackenzie, Dhekelia road and the Oroklini side turn over weekly in season. Repaints between guests, scuffed corridors, and the wheelie-bag damage along every hallway skirting.

02

Mould and damp in bedrooms

The single most common winter call. Treated, sealed with a stain-blocking primer and repainted — and we tell you honestly whether paint is the fix or only the finish.

03

Small jobs nobody else wants

One room, one ceiling, the wall a plumber opened. Being local means a half-day job is still worth doing, and you are not paying to bring a crew across the island.

What Larnaca does to a wall

Humidity first, salt second, sun third.

Condensation, not a leak
Black spotting in a corner, along a ceiling edge or behind furniture is almost always condensation on a cold bridge, not water coming in. Painting over it hides it until February. It has to be killed, sealed with a stain block, and the room has to be able to dry — otherwise you are repainting it every winter.
Salt on the Dhekelia side
From Mackenzie out past Pyla the exposure is coastal, and exterior render there behaves the way it does in Limassol: chalking, edge lift, fixings bleeding rust. Inland at Aradippou or Kornos, the same house would be fine with a standard acrylic.
Rentals get worn, not weathered
A flat let short-term takes more physical damage in a year than a family home takes in five — bags along skirtings, chair backs, door reveals. The answer is a washable, scuff-resistant finish in the traffic areas, not a better colour.

What a Larnaca job costs

A small flat repainted in a day starts at €381 with the paint included. Because this is our own district, small jobs are quoted the same way as big ones — you get a figure, not a minimum charge invented to cover the drive.

Every figure includes VAT and the paint. There is no call-out fee, here or anywhere else.

Larnaca questions we get asked

How quickly can you come and look?
In our own district it is usually the same week, often sooner. For a straightforward flat you can skip the visit entirely — the calculator gives a real price from the floor area, and we confirm it on the day we arrive.
There is black mould in the bedroom corner. Can you just paint it?
No, and anyone who says yes is selling you a winter. It gets treated and sealed with a stain-blocking primer first. If the cause is condensation on a cold wall we will say so, because the paint is the finish, not the cure.
Will you take a one-room job?
Yes. Being based here is the reason we can — a half day in Larnaca costs us a half day, not a day plus two hours of driving.
Can you paint between a check-out and a check-in?
For a single room or a hallway, often yes. Tell us the window and we will tell you honestly what fits in it — an overpromised turnaround helps nobody when the guest arrives.
Do you cover the villages — Lefkara, Athienou, Kornos?
Yes, and the price does not change for them. Village stone and older plaster sometimes need a breathable system rather than standard emulsion, which the survey picks up.
